A Grand Khunti Puja for 53rd Durgotsav for Bhowanipur 75 Palli Sarbojonin of Kolkata [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata 25^th June, 2017: Kolkata’s Famous Bhowanipur 75 Palli Sarbojanin Durgotsav heralded the autumnal ritual with the Khuti Puja today to mark the start of Durga Puja proceedings this year at 1/IC, Devendra Ghosh Road located at Boowanipur, near Netaji Bhawan Metro Station. The puja committee is famous worldwide not only for its Durgapuja but also for their social contributions throughout the year. Over the years senior politicians, celebrities, from Tollywood, theater personalities, eminent litterateurs, industries etc. have regularly visited this puja to make it a grand success.

Today the occasion was attended by eminent political personalities i.e. Honorable MP Subrata Bakshi, Honorable Minister of Power and Non-Conventional Energy Sources Mr. Sovandeb Chatterjee, Honorable Minister of Women Development & Social Welfare, Dancer and Choreographer Smt. Alokananda Roy, Film Director Mr. Haranath Chakraborty and others. This 53^rd year of Durga Puja is also going to be having a great theme. Last year it was ‘Aarshinagar’. The club secretary Mr. Subir Das told TNI “This year too it would be a big success like the previous year themes and we are confident to bring in people’s attention more than the previous years”.
